This site is named after a great quote by legendary comedian and actor W C Fields who said:

“Reminds me of my safari in Africa. Somebody forgot the corkscrew and for several days we had to live on nothing but food and water.”

My aim for this site is to make available images for browsing searching and purchase that reflect my adventures and my perspective on the world through my photographs.

With over 10 years in the Travel Industry I share some of the things I have learned for maximising the potential of any trips – whether long haul or down the road – from tips for using online web sites for finding the best options for your group to how to best manage your time when you get “on the ground”.

I’ll aim to share my views at least once each week on when to splurge and when to save, how to maximise the experience and where to get the best value for your money and always with a view to including as many images as possible so that you can also feel that you know what the place feels and looks like, and hopefully to inspire everyone to see the world, look at things from a different angle and hopefully together we can learn to appreciate the different perspectives everyone whizzing around the vastness of space on this little blue marble we call home brings to the party.

I look forward to more posts from you! 🙂
